2019 Kia Optima Debuts at New York International Auto Show with a Host of Updates

When searching for the perfect midsize sedan, many drivers turn to the sleek, sophisticated, stylish Kia Optima. Popularity can sometimes give rise to stagnation, but that's certainly not the case with the 2019 Kia Optima which recently debuted at the New York International Auto Show. This new take on a favorite refreshes the Optima with an updated look and plenty of new features, building upon a foundation of the value and tech-savviness you expect with new elements to further enhance your driving experience.

What's New?

Exploring the 2019 Optima reveals a wide variety of exciting changes including a host of redesigned elements that refresh both the exterior and the interior. The LX trim includes LED daytime running lights that call back to the sporty Kia Stinger, new wheels, and an updated grille.

The S trim offers a list of updates to give the Optima an even sportier and more tech-centered attitude. LED taillights, gloss-black accents, larger wheels, push-button start, and a variety of other convenience-oriented features serve to make the Optima stand out and give you a more streamlined experience behind the wheel. The EX trim boasts a powerful turbocharged engine with standard Smart Cruise Control while the SX trim offers a sporty interior, a premium sound system, and much more!

Another key feature is the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), a suite of safety features such as Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist and Forward Collision Warning System that work together to help drivers reduce the effects of an accident -- or avoid one altogether. Better yet, ADAS features come standard across the new Optima lineup.

The new 2019 Kia Optima is slated to arrive later this year in 2018, so be sure to stop by our Kia dealership in Manassas serving Woodbridge, Fairfax, Chantilly, Falls Church, and Washington, DC to learn more!
